Children's Services

If you're planning to visit Calvary Chapel O'Hare and have kids...here's some helpful hints on what to do. If you have little ones that aren't yet potty trained, we ask that you take them to our nursery. Moms are welcome to stay with their babies, or you can leave them in the trusting hands of Laurette Silva and her great nursery team. We ask you not to bring the little ones into the adult service, to avoid disrupting the teaching.

Kids that are potty trained and up through junior high school age...are asked to attend our Sunday School. We have classes for all ages and lots of great lessons and activities for them. Our Sunday School program now includes a special time of children's worship music, designed just for young people. After that the kids break up into classes, based on their age group, and are taught God's word through workbooks, arts and craft projects and other special activities. Kids who are between the ages of 3 and 12 are encouraged to join the Sunday School program. We have a great group of teachers eager to get your kids excited about God and His Word. You can ask any usher for help finding the right Sunday School class, or you can ask someone to direct you to Rose Mary Carlson, who leads our Sunday School team.

High school aged kids are welcome to join mom and dad for our adult worship service in the sanctuary. So no matter what age you are, we've got a great ministry designed just for you!
