Get Involved
We believe 100% that every believer should be contributing to the building of God's Kingdom. This can happen in many different ways. But one thing is for certain, everyone has a responsibility to serve the body of Christ in some way. At Calvary Chapel O'Hare, we want every one of our members to be involved. Our church cannot function without the work of many hands serving. And like the old saying "Many hands makes light work".
If you consider Calvary Chapel O'Hare your church home, than we encourage you to get involved. Just contact the appropriate ministry to register. Below are just a few ways for you to serve. If you have an idea that you would like to do but don't currently see it listed, contact us anyway, we'd love to help you get it started.
Nursery
Have an interest in serving within our nursery. We are always looking for women with a love for children to assist with our nursery team. For more details or to request an application contact Laurette.

Sunday School
If you have children, we encourage you to consider serving in our children’s Sunday School. There are always opportunities to assist in one of the most fulfilling ministries; Children. For more details or to request an application contact Ro Carlson.

Helps Ministry
Here at Calvary we care about you and your family. Therefore if you ever have a need that we can help with, we would love the opportunity to do so. The helps ministry exists to help when you really need it, ex: you just had a baby, great! We would love to make some meals for you and bring them to your house so you can focus on all the new mom things. Perhaps you had surgery and are home recovering, again we would love to bring you a few meals to help lighten the load. Maybe you know of someone who has a need. Let us know and we will see if we can help.
Another aspect of the helps ministry is our Titus 3 table. It’s located in the lobby. The idea was birthed from the verse Titus 3:14-And let our people also learn to maintain good works, to meet urgent needs, that they may not be unfruitful.
At this table you will find names of those in the church on a card with their specific need, and various ways in front of their name that will show how you can help. This has proven to be very encouraging and a blessing to those who have been the recipients.

Usher/Security Ministry
If you have a love for people, we encourage you to consider being an usher. Greeting people at the door and just giving a warm welcome to someone new may be all it takes to encourage someone to come back and visit us again. We are proud to thrive on good fellowship and a loving spirit and encourage you to join and help continue that legacy.

Cleaning Ministry
One of the most needed areas in our church is the service with our cleaning ministry. We’re proud that our church is fully functional completely on volunteers right within our own body. Because we want to give God our best, we want our church and the impression we give the best it can be.

Loaves and Fishes
Loaves and Fishes is a ministry to help feed the needy in Franklin Park. People are needed to help prepare a meal, serve the meal, and clean-up after the meal. Please see Denise Espinoza for available dates and details.

We believe we have a duty, out of a commitment to Christ, to serve each other, both, inside and outside the body of Christ.
